It took a lot of digging in pants’ pockets for us to come up with the $20 but we were able to do it, so we now have our own domain!

As of right now, the site redirects to our blogger site, while we figure out how to do the coding on the custom domain. We are a small group comprised of animal rescuers and advocates, so we don’t have a webmaster and are figuring out all this internet stuff on our own. I don’t think we’re doing too bad- so far we have a presence on Blogger, WordPress, Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter and now our own custom domain! This in addition to our street presence…..You better treat them doggies right and not train them to fight, because if we so much as hear a whisper about something going on- expect for your neighborhood to be getting bombed with posters advertising a $5000 bounty on your head!

Order Your Free Anti-Dogfighting Action Pack

The Humane Society of the United States offers a free dogfighting reward action pack, which includes posters, postcards, brochures, and stickers with information about the $5000 reward for you to post around your neighborhood. You can also download the dogfighting poster and print it out. If you suspect dogfighting in a certain neighborhood, you can inform the residents (who may know what is going on) about the reward. Many people fear retaliation, or prefer to “mind their own business”, but their minds may be changed once they learn about the reward!

Post these flyers on poles, windshields, or leave in the neighbors’ railings/walkways (keep in mind, it is illegal to put a flyer inside a mailbox if it was not sent through the US post office.) You can also post them on online forums, social networking sites- anywhere you can think of to help get the word out! If you are in Philly, we would be happy to provide you with some flyers, along with some educational pamphlets. Reporting Illegal Animal Fighting + Reward

The Humane Society of the United States offers a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in dogfighting or cockfighting.

Additionally, The HSUS offers rewards in specific animal cruelty cases, at the request of local law enforcement, to assist in apprehending perpetrators.

If you have information about illegal animal fighting, you are eligible for this reward. Here are the steps to take:

Call your local police department or animal control agency (PSPCA Tipline is 1-866-601-SPCA). Give them as many details as you can about the suspected animal fighting situation. You do not need to give your name to law enforcement to report illegal animal fighting. Tell the law enforcement agency about The HSUS’ reward program.

You can also call The HSUS’ animal fighting tip line at 877-HSUS-TIP with information about possible animal fighting activity.

Note: In order to qualify for the rewards program, this must be an open case. Additionally, law enforcement officers (including ACOs and humane officers) are not eligible for the HSUS’ rewards program.

Get a letter from law enforcement. If the suspected animal fighter is convicted, ask the law enforcement agency involved in the case to write a letter to The HSUS. The letter should state that your tip helped lead to the arrest and prosecution of the convicted animal fighter. The letter should be mailed or faxed to:
